NEC systems SL2100, SV8100 and SV9100

Using the Daylight Savings Setup program, these systems can automatically adjust the system time for daylight savings time/standard time changes.

However, if necessary, you can adjust the system time and date on the above systems from a terminal.

Steps to modify the date using a terminal

1. Press Speaker key
2. Dial 789
3. Dial two digits for the year
4. Dial two digits for the month
5. Dial two digits for the day
6. Dial one digit for the day of the week (1=Sunday, 2=Monday, etc.)
7. Press Speaker key to hang up.

On a Keyset 

1. Press Speaker.
2. Dial 828.
3. Dial two digits for the hour (24 hour clock, 13 = 1:00 PM).
4. Dial two digits for the minutes (00~59).
5. Press Speaker to hang up.

For clocks on Windows PC based NEC applications used in conjunction with the above systems - these should of course adjust automatically for Daylight Saving.

Services conditions

This feature works under the following conditions:

  • For UNIVERGE SV8100 and UNIVERGE SV9100 systems, the modification of the date must be done directly with your Smart Partner.
  • Changing the time may change the current Class of Service (COS) service depending on the COS mode setup.
  • The system retains the Time/Date display after a power failure or system reset.
  • Single Line Terminal cannot set the time and date.
  • SIP Standard Terminal cannot set the time and date.
  • Changing the system time automatically changes the InMail time.
