Overview

You want to protect your investment in your NEAX® Series and UNIVERGE SV8000 Series communications system, but you also want to take advantage of the latest software and applications to give you a competitive advantage and increase revenue. With NEC’s new migration path to the UNIVERGE SV9000 Series Communications Platform, you don’t have to choose

By migrating to the UNIVERGE SV9100 Communications Platform, you get enhanced features and increased capacity without a forklift of your existing SV8100 system and IP/digital telephones – which means you save time and money. Even your current phones’ capabilities are upgraded. This simple solution effectively extends your current system’s life and ensures that your initial investment in NEC pays off for years to come.

Solution

Simple Migration

NEC embraces a “no customer left behind” philosophy and maintains a sincere commitment to providing our customers with a cost-effective, non- disruptive, easy path to modernize your communications. Simply choose a migration path that best fits your requirements today as well as support your future growth. NEC is now offering unprecedented incentives for our NEAX® Series and UNIVERGE SV8000 Series customers to modernize which further simplifies the decision to migrate.

Migrating now from SV8000 Series to the SV9000 Series protects your initial investment; depending on the migration path you choose you may be able to keep some of your existing SV8000 blades, terminals, adapters and applications by simply replacing the main CPU with a new SV9300 CPU as well as your software and license – so when you migrate to the SV9000 from the SV8000, there is no need to retrain your staff. Your training costs are cut because they are already familiar with the phone consoles and computer interface. NEAX customers may also migrate to the new SV9000 via a special migration program.

Investment Protection

Your investment in our communications solutions is important to us – no matter when you made it. Migrating to the SV9000 Series protects your initial investment by providing a simple, economic way to keep your system while adding more up-to-date features that help you become more agile, compete on a larger scale and improve customer satisfaction. As a result, it lowers costs and provides a superb return on investment.

More Features and Improved Functionality

NEC’s latest UNIVERGE solutions can help your business become more productive and collaborative. When you migrate to the SV9000 Series, you gain access to a wealth of unified communications functionality. The SV9000 Series allows you to take full advantage of IP capability and expands your system’s capacity. You can add many of our latest telephones to your system including NEC’s new GT890 desktop telephone which integrates a traditional telephone and a tablet into one device to provide you with an innovative, feature-packed appliance that revolutionizes the user experience.

Simplified User Licensing

NEC has streamlined and simplified its user licensing structure. Our licensing structure gives both technology and financial decision makers the opportunity to anticipate user cost and to provide each employee with the license package that they need to perform their job efficiently.

The Basic User License Package is designed for regular IP voice users— the average employee who works in Finance, Human Resources, etc. It provides the administrator with System Management and Single Point of Entry.

The Standard License Package is designed for the regular UC user. Each Standard user gets UC Desktop/Mobile features, voicemail, and unified messaging, so he or she will be fully enabled to work anywhere, anytime, and from any device as needed.

The Standard Plus User License Package is designed for the constant UC user, frequent travelers and mobile workers. Each Standard Plus user gets access to all the Standard user features plus desktop softphone and UC mobility softphone capabilities.

The Premium User License Package on the SV9300 is designed also for the constant UC user, frequent travelers and mobile workers. Each Premium user gets access to all Standard Plus user features, plus the web-based Collaboration (CMM) application on the SV9300. Premium User License Package on the SV9100 is designed for contact center agents or UC power users that also function as attendants and operators. Each Premium user gets access to all the Standard UC features, as well as contact center, attendant, and CRM integration features — that will ultimately give them a more robust UC experience that easily ties into their daily business processes/business process technologies.

Increased Capacity

As a member of the SV9000 family of pure IP systems, the SV9000 gives you the latest presence, softphone, and file sharing technology while providing an expanded capacity than its predecessor. Expanded IP and SIP support keeps you up-to-date and enables you to expand your communications globally. You can also add our latest IP telephones to your system to access even more advanced features.

Assured Future System Support

Migrating your SV8000 Series to the SV9000 Series ensures that your NEC communications solutions will continue to receive support. When you migrate, you receive a new warranty and continued assistance from NEC’s respected support services With the SV9000, you can always be confident in the knowledge that you have the latest communications technology.
